The new “Pallikkoodam” campus is an ‘inspired learning environment’ designed with a deep understanding of ‘21st century learning principles’. It is a result of a unique design process that involved renowned Architects, Designers and Pedagogical experts. The campus is purpose-built for the digital age to encourage innovation and promote collaboration and creative collisions.

It features 2 blocks, the IGCSE and the ICSE blocks connected by the ‘Quad’ which is the heart-space of the school. It is the focal point of gathering for inhouse events and community and showcase & display areas.

The classrooms are designed for collaboration. Movement is key to active learning. When students can move about easily, they are more interactive, collaborative, comfortable and engaged in class. The flexible classroom design allows easy movement between lecture-based and team-based modes and providing the tools needed for collaboration and group engagement.

The school forms a visual threshold between modern functional design and a grounded earthy architecture with the use of wire cut & porotherm bricks and concrete structures. They blend into the landscape beyond. The robust locally sourced materials are sustainable and weather gracefully.

With a renewed sense of vision and energy, the new campus underlines the benefit of a 21st century school building. Open spaces, natural light and visibility have created an environment where supervision is relaxed and an environment that will make learning an enjoyable experience.
